Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our expanding installation team, specialising in solar PV systems. You will play a key role in the installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems across domestic, commercial and agricultural projects. Working alongside roofers and other installation team members, you will ensure every installation is completed safely, efficiently and in line with current regulations, maintaining the high standards of quality and customer service that Premier Electrical Group is known for.Key Responsibilities
- Install, wire and connect solar PV systems.
- Carry out testing, inspection and commissioning of installations.
- Install inverters, battery storage systems and associated electrical equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults when required.
- Ensure all work complies with current regulations and company procedures.
- Complete all relevant certification and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with roofers and the wider installation team.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
- Represent Premier Electrical Group professionally on customer sites.
Essential
- Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Competent using electrical testing equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel throughout Northern Ireland and occasionally to Great Britain when required.
Desirable
- Experience with solar PV installations.
- Testing and Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent).
- ECS or CSCS card.
- Experience installing battery storage systems.
- Experience working on domestic, commercial or agricultural projects.
