Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified Maintenance PV Electrician to join our growing service and maintenance team. You will be responsible for carrying out inspections, fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance on solar PV systems, battery storage systems and associated electrical equipment across domestic, commercial and agricultural sites. You will play a key role in ensuring systems continue to operate safely, efficiently and at peak performance while delivering excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on solar PV and battery storage systems.
- Complete system inspections and performance checks.
- Carry out testing and commissioning following repairs or upgrades.
- Replace faulty components including inverters, isolators and other electrical equipment.
- Complete maintenance reports and relevant documentation.
- Respond to customer call outs and fault reports.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
- Represent Premier Electrical Group professionally on customer sites.
Essential
- Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Experience with fault finding and electrical maintenance.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel throughout Northern Ireland and occasionally to Great Britain when required.
Desirable
- Experience maintaining solar PV systems.
- Testing and Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent).
- ECS or CSCS card.
- Experience with battery storage systems.
- Experience working on domestic, commercial or agricultural properties.
