Roofing Labourer

Ballynahinch, Co. Down - Travel throughout Northern Ireland and occasional travel to Great Britain may be required.

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Roofing Labourer to join our growing installation team. You will support our roofers with the preparation and installation of solar PV systems across domestic, commercial and agricultural properties. This is a hands on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is eager to learn and takes pride in delivering high quality work as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist roofers with the installation of solar PV systems.
  • Prepare roofs and work areas before installation begins.
  • Load, unload and transport materials and equipment.
  • Assist with lifting and positioning solar panels and roof mounting systems.
  • Keep work areas clean, safe and organised.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Support the installation team with daily tasks as required.
  • Represent Premier Electrical Group professionally on customer sites.

Essential

  • Comfortable working at height.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to learn new skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Northern Ireland and occasionally to Great Britain when required.

Desirable

  • Experience working on roofing projects.
  • Experience assisting with solar PV installations.
  • Working at Height certification.
  • Experience using hand and power tools.
